In this latest trailer were given an insight to the mission structure of the game. Wei uses his ties to the police and introduces a new way of tracking people. Using a tracking software on his phone, players must try to get in the centre of a triangular display. Once you reach the designated point, your given a list of possible location the receiving end may be situated. Selecting the one with the strongest signal strength leads you to their location.
High octane varied action is a key aspect of the game, switching between hand to hand combat, shootouts and car chases on the fly. To create an authentic combat system the developers looked towards UFC'S George St-Pierre, to motion capture martial arts manoeuvres.
The Driving mechanics have been given tender care as well, looking sharp in the trailer. Whilst aiming on a vehicle, time slows down giving you enough time to shoot the tires of the opposition. Causing chaos on screen like any good action movie, with explosions everywhere in your rear-view mirror.
Sleeping Dog is released on 17th August 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
