Saints Row The Third Preview
The Saints are back and bigger than ever, with a celebrity status, manic missions and a new city to explore. When a flamboyant gang known as the Syndicate, threaten the livelihood of our favourite gang, the Saints retrieve what's strictly theirs and more.
New cars, planes, jets, customizable options/items and weapons have been introduced. The handling of cars has been vastly improved to drive more smoothly, than the arcadey handling of past installments. Customizing vehicles returns with new rims, body kit options and colour pallets for spray painting your car.
Saint Row's character creation tools are more extensive than ever, with more taunts, clothing, accessories and skin tones to create characters such as the Hulk or even the Red Skull from Captain America. Character creations can even be shared and downloaded by players all around the world now.
Weapons are also customizable, with the option to add on scopes, extended clips and silencers for example. As if that's not satisfying enough you can now perform air strikes, shoot people out of a human cannon and even punch people with giant fists.
The awesome button (as Volition like to call it) allows you to perform wrestling moves such as a DDT or even use someone as a human snowboard. Mini games have returned with old one's such as car surfing and streaking with the addition of Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax. Which is a game show with ludicrous challenges and objectives.
Competitive multiplayer has been scrapped and now online co-op is the games focus. Allowing you and a friend to reign terror in Steelport by doing missions or roaming around.
If your looking for over the top style missions then look no further, as you'll be hanging on to a vault strapped to a helicopter and skydiving out of an aeroplane within the first hour of the game.
Expect the mayhem to begin 18th November 2011 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
