Rage: The Well Gameplay Trailer & Anarchy Edition Revealed

This latest trailer running on PC, showcases a town named Wellspring and interaction with the locals. The beginning shows what could be a mini game of five finger fillet in a bar. After a little walk the protagonist responds to an alarming sound. The commotion leads to the well, infested with bandits attempting to tamper with the water supply. 

Here we get a taste of the arsenal of weapons in the game, every weapon has an alternative firing mode's and ammo. The crossbow can fire electric, mind control and sticky bomb bolts. The pistol shoots out normal rounds and alternatively fire's like a machine gun. Shotguns fire out buckshot rounds or rockets and you can even punch people with a spiked glove. A rather unique weapon always at your side is a boomerang called the wingstick, used simultaneously with any weapon.

It would seem you can only carry four weapons at a time, whether or not your inventory slot is expandable is yet to be seen. In  the trailer is two weapons which will be available exclusively in Rage's Anarchy Edition. This includes, a Double Barrel Shotgun, Fists of Rage, Rat Rod Buggy and Crimson Elite Armour. Pre-orders can be made from Amazon, GAME and HMV. Those who pre-ordered the game already will be automatically be upgraded.

Rage is released in the US on 13 September and in the UK on 16 September on PS3, 360 and PC.
